Mysuru: Derogatory remarks against Siddu, case booked

Mysuru: Hunasuru Town police registered a case against a person for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Facebook.

It is said that on Sunday July 17 Siddaramaiah participated in a event in Chamundeshwari Constituency and declared that 2023 election will be his last and that he would never contest any election in future. A Hunasuru resident Govinda Nayak made derogatory comment against the statement of Siddaramaiah and abused him using foul language.

Bilikere Block Congress Committee President M. Devaraju filed a complaint with police. Police has registered a case and is investigating.
