Hyderabad Nawab meets Mysuru scion Yaduveer

Mysuru: The Hyderabad Nizam scion Nawab Mir Najaf Ali Khan on Thursday February 19 met Mysuru royal scion Yaduveer Krishnadutta Wodeyar , and held discussions for sometime.

The two families met after more than 100 years. They both recalled old memories and remembered the past glory. Yaduveer told that  during regime of Britishes erstwhile Nawab Asif Jah  protected interests of Indian kings. He said during 1965 Indo-China war Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan contributed 5 tonnes of gold to the nation. He said Nizams supported construction of  Mysuru Palace and IISc. These apart, thousands of  students received PhD degree from IISc at that time.

He also showed the 100-year-old photo of Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan to Nawab Mir Najaf Ali Khan.
