Mysuru: A video depicting former MLA Yathindra Siddharamaiah in conversation with his father is circulating widely on social media, amid opposition claims that his involvement in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s government has intensified, and he is accumulating YST.
On Wednesday, Yathindra conducted a public grievances hearing in Chattanahalli palya village, located in Mysuru taluk under the Varuna constituency, where he addressed the concerns of the village residents.
He phoned his father and, mentioning something, remarked, “Only address the list I provided,” emphasizing the list he had presented before the public. Yathindra Siddaramaiah initiated the conversation with his father. “Who is Vivekananda?” inquired the Chief Minister. Yathindra then requested the Chief Minister to pass the phone to Mahadeva.
Immediately after passing the phone to Mahadev, Yathindra took a jab at him, questioning if there was anything beyond what he had already conveyed. I am unaware of all that. He has explicitly instructed to address only the four or five points I provided. This matter is currently causing a stir in state politics.
In a series of tweets, ex-Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy stated, “This video clip serves as evidence that the cash-for-posting scandal is prevalent, unchecked, and shameless in Karnataka. The business of recovery by the Congress government has been exposed.” He added, “The true identity of the advocate for morality, values, and social justice has been traded for three rupees on the same street.
