Gundlupet: The Forest Department has issued a notice to actor Ganesh, instructing him to halt ongoing construction at Jakkalli Survey No. 105 within the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. He has also been directed to provide documents from the monitoring committee.
Earlier, News Karnataka reported about unauthorized construction of a permanent structure in the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Actor Golden Star Ganesh had initially received permission for a temporary structure, which raised concerns among the public.
In response to public outcry, forest department officials were alerted to prevent such constructions in the reserve’s sensitive zones, as they disrupt wildlife habitats. They suspended the construction and demanded compliance with regulations. The notice has been issued based on the discovery of permanent construction in the wildlife area’s most sensitive center, following the directives of the Supreme Court.
