Mysuru: Mysuru Warriors, the KPL team owned by N R Group has fulfilled its commitment of aiding their KPL tournament’s cause partner Deutsche Cleft Kinderhlife. The contribution made by Mysuru Warriors was used by Deutsche Cleft Children’s Aid Society to ensure corrective surgery for seven cleft lip and palate affected children in the city.Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe, an international NGO that offers comprehensive treatment to children with cleft lip and palate issues across Mysuru, received an aid of Rs 1 Lakh by the Mysuru Warriors at the end of the tournament.
Speaking about the initiative, Mysuru Warriors owner and Managing Director of Cycle Pure Agarbathies Arjun Ranga said, “The collaboration with Deutsche Cleft Kinderhlife was an attempt from our side to make a difference in the lives of children affected with cleft lip condition and I am extremely glad that surgeries were successful. In future, we hope to spread more smiles.”

I am confident such involvement from both the corporate and sports fraternity can go a long way in changing the lives of the affected children.”
Cleft lip is one of the most neglected body conditions. Every year, in India around 40,000 children are born and every tenth in them dies before his or her first birthday. Further, the deformity also causes tremendous emotional suffering calling for immediate attention and action.
