Urs union leaders who were part of the meeting recommended Baraguru Ramachandrappa as chief guest for the function. DC also recommended the education department officials to briefly read out achievements and contribution of Devaraja Urs during assembly on the day of the event.

As part of the celebration, district administration is also proposed to conduct debate and cultural programs at Kalamandira. Apart from this, the OBC students who excelled in SSLC and II PU exams will be honored.

As a fitting reply to the great visionary, the Urs union members demanded district administration to install a statue of D Devaraj Urs at Ramakrishna Nagar circle. DC Shikha assured to look into the proposal.
