Mysuru: Pro-Dalit organisations staged a protest in the City, alleging that Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy had made anti-Dalit remarks.

The office-bearers and activists of various pro-Dalit organisations took out a march from Ambedkar Bhavan near Sathanur Circle to the Tahasildar’s office and raised slogans against Kumaraswamy.

Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy has an anti-Dalit attitude and has made it a habit to speak against Dalits repeatedly. This time he has made anti-Dalit remarks in a bid to woo Muslims. It is not right to make such a statement against those who hold a high position. Therefore, they demanded that he should immediately resign from his MLA post.
