Mysuru: The Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) of Alanahalli Gram Panchayat in HD Kote Taluk has been suspended from his post.
The Government employee has been suspended after a video of him assaulting a Gram Panchayat (GP) member went viral on social media on Saturday March 5. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mysuru Zilla Panchayat B. R. Poornima has ordered the suspension of the PDO in connection with the GP member assault case.
