Mysuru: An MBBS student died on the spot at Shanthala Circle when a bike in which he was riding rammed into KSRTC bus while crossing road in the wee hours of Wednesday January 5.

The deceased has been identified as H. L. Rahul, a native of Ghataprabha in Belagavi, who was studying in final year MBBS.

It is said that Rahul did not wear helmet which caused a severe head injury. He died owing to excessive bleeding.

Krishna Raja Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating.
