Mysuru: How does it feel, when Prime Minister of India gives a thumbs up for the design of your wedding card? Well, with one such gestures of appreciation the Jain family from Mysuru is on cloud nine!

A businessman from Mysuru wanted to have the logo of Swach Bharath Mission’, Prime Minister Modi’s favourite programme, printed on his daughter’s wedding card. But, very little did this businessman from D Devaraj Urs Road know that his daughter’s wedding card will be noticed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.

Akshay Jain, a software engineer tweeted pictures of his sister’s wedding card, captioning it with his father’s deep desire to have logo of Swach Bharath Mission printed on it. He had tagged Modi on this tweet on April 1. However, Jain was out for a surprise when the PM of India re-tweeted the post on Sunday evening. Modi is now following Akshay Jain on twitter.

However, speaking to media, Akshay Jain said that since they hail from Gujarat and that too from Modi’s former constituency Maninagar and since Swach Bharath Mission is very close to his father’s heart, they printed the logo on the card so as to disseminate a message to the invitees. “Modiji is following 1,698 people on twitter and I am one of them,” says Akshay adding that by Monday evening 2,336 people have re-tweeted his post and due to Modi, the tweet has gone viral.

The wedding will be solemnised on April 28 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
