Mysuru: Sutturu Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji said that earlier girls used to live under the tutelage of others, and today is the time everyone has to lead a life under the tutelage of daughters.
He was speaking after inaugurating the new building of the hostel constructed by the Veerashaiva Students Welfare Charitable Trust at Basaveshwara Layout in the Town. “The mother raises her son with the hope that one day he will become a reformer of society even though he might turn out to be an anti-social. Therefore, girls should be educated. For this, hostels are required,” he noted.
The office-bearers of the Trust who have worked hard to build this hostel will be felicitated, he said
