Mysuru: MLA S. A. Ramadas has said that it is unfortunate that for the last 2 to 3 months, some people in Krishnaraja Assembly Constituency have been trying to divide the society by creating rift between castes.

Speaking on the sidelines of the ‘Wellness Yatra’ organised in Ward No. 59 of Krishnaraja Assembly Constituency, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in the State have proved that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chants the mantra of development and does not focus on other issues. All of us should have a mind in that direction,” he said.

“Today, K. R. Constituency is number one in the State in terms of development. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai himself has said this publicly. On hearing this information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi patted him on the back and blessed the gathering. All these fruits will go to the people of the Constituency,” he said, adding that there was no need to respect the words of some people.

“Last year, when the Government was formed, there was a shortage of numbers. However, this time we have to be careful not to let that happen. The BJP has to win at least 150 seats. There has to be an organised fight through this,” he said.
