Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is likely to face yet another incident of embarrassment after Mysuru Deputy Commissioner lodged a complaint against a close associate of the prior.

DC Shikha, in her complaint has alleged CM’s associate of hurling abuses at her and threatening her when CM was in Mysuru to take part in an Ifthar meet.

The accused Marigowda, the complaint read, questioned the DC as to why a particular Tahshildar was not relieved yet.

It is said that about five acres of land was handed over to Mysuru Co-op Society even when there were no provisions to allocate the land. Acting stern on this, Tahshldar Naveen Joseph had not just recovered the land, but had also registered criminal complaint against all offenders involved in the scam.

Incidentally, President of the Mysuru Co-operative Society happens to be a good friend of Marigowda and the prior had allotted two 50×80 sites to Marigowda.

Marigowda is also a close friend of another accused in the same case.

Being a staunch supporter of the CM, Marigowda flaunted his clout and when the CM was in the city to take part in the Ifthar event, Marigowda stopped the DC and questioned her about the Tahshildar who has not been relieved from duty despite having been transferred.

Due to the incident, the DC missed the CM’s cavalcade, but instead of catching up she straight away headed to Nazarbad police station and lodged a complaint against Marigowda.
