Mysuru: Dhruvakumar, Chairman, Mysuru Urban Development Authority approached Infosys Co-founder N R Narayanamurthy on August 8, seeking his sponsorship to develop parks at Dattagalli third stage and for installation of statues.
While Narayanamurthy was in National Institute of Engineering, Dhruvakumar made maximum use of his presence by requesting him for his help to develop parks and statues.
Speaking to Newskarnataka, Dhruvakumar said, “Already Infosys has sponsored various developmental programmes in the city including rejuvenation of a lake, providing better facilities in a park at Dattagalli third stage which has been already handed over to Mysuru City Corporation. We requested Narayanamurthy for his assistance in development of a park by providing additional facilities including open gym, library, amusement and playing facilities for the children. Apart from this, we have also sought his assistance to install statues at prominent circles all worth Rs 10 Crore.”
“Going by his response, we are very much confident of getting his assistance for the abovesaid projects”, added Dhruvakumar who has taken up various developmental programmes since he took over as chairman of MUDA.
