More facilities inaugurated at Mysuru zoo, free Wi-Fi for visitors

Mysuru: Forest Minister B Ramanath Rai inaugurated canteen, drinking water system and baby nursing rooms at the Mysuru zoo premises on Saturday.
Apart from the above facilities he also inaugurated a hospital, new gate for the zoo, tiger enclosure in koorgalli, enclosure for black bear and toilet facilities at the zoo premise.

In a new service inaugurated on Friday, visitors can now enjoy high speed internet on their mobile as BSNL introduced grade 5G Wi-Fi hotspots at five different locations; at the main entrance, Tiger Park, elephant garden, restaurant and Giraffe Park inside the zoo. At any given time 1000 users can avail the service
simultaneously. The users will be given one time password provided by the operator.

District and Revenue Minister V Srinivas Prasad, MLAs MK Somashekar and Tanveer Sait, Mayor BL Bhyrappa, Rehana Bhanu, Chairperson, Zoo Authority of Karnataka, KR Mohan, Chairman, Mysuru Urban Development Authority were also present.
