Mysuru: The investigation into the incident where a budding model hired contract-killers to attack a father-son duo has cleared the confusion. Initially, it was said that Moin had refused to marry Monisha which led to the situation. The probe by police revealed the truth.

Model Monisha, hatched the plot to kill father Mukhtar and his son Moin Ahmed as a revenge. Moin had slapped Monisha during an argument. A humiliated Monisha decided to take revenge.

Monisha and Siraj, Mukhtar’s relative, fell in love about a year ago. But Siraj’s family was against it. During a visit to Siraj’s house sometime back, Moin had slapped her after an argument over the issue.

Looking for revenge, Monisha then sought the help of Shivakumar who was working with her father. Shivakumar took help of his friends Raghavendra and Goutham and the trio attacked Moin and his father at their house with lethal weapons.

All the four were arrested on Wednesday evening. Police are on the lookout for Siraj.

N R Mohalla Inspector Ashok Kumar said on Thursday that the father-son duo suffered 18 stab injuries in the incident and are still in ICU. He also said that Monisha is well-off and took to crime only for the sake of love.
