Mysuru: After the success of Mysuru Fashion week Season 1 Jayanthi Ballal, designer, proprietor, Needle Works has organized Model hunt Season 4.
Jayanthi Ballal is creating an opportunity and a platform to youngsters who are interested in modeling. On 15th of November Model hunt event will be held at Country Inn and Suites by Carlson where anyone can take part with the entry fee of 150/- of their own costume.
Judges will be K Manju producer of Kannada Industry, Aadeem, Pooja Joshi and Krupa Sumanth, winners will be trained for 15 days and they will be launched in December.
Pooja Joshi Igoor is a Artistic Director Beyondtaalas Creative dance studio, also a MBA and an acadamecian. A passionate dancer and choreographer from last 13 years, trained in classical and also trained in bollywood, latin and contemporary. Known for Versatality in dance forms have been part of national and international dance festivals. Also a recepient of RASHTRAPATHI award for community development. Believes in elevating mysores talents.
Krupa Sumanth CEO & Founder of Impressionz exhibition has business of designer trade fairs and hosting and showcasing designers from all around the country from the year 2001. Impressionz is now South India’s popular exhibition. They tap designers and showcase them in the right platform. Started business in her hometown Mysuru, after an overwhelming response has had shows in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mumbai and other B towns. As part of the trade, Krupa Sumanth has now launched herself as an stylist in Mysuru.
Jayanthi Ballal, after completing her course in fashion design in the reputed vogue institute in Bangalore decided to bring fashion to Mysoreans. She started “Needle Works” in 2002. A young mother then, she had a passion for clothes and a penchant for neat lines and design. Jayanthi and Needle Works have moved on to greater things while retaining their roots in the cultural hub, Mysuru. She has included showcasing her designs through several ramp walks and organizing more than 40 shows for different institutions.
