Mysuru: The instances of chain-snatching has been on rise in Mysuru, but on Tuesday morning, an elderly paid a heavy price as chain-snatchers eyed her gold chain.
The chain-snatchers assaulted 67-year-old Saubhagya from Saraswathipuram before they snatched away the chain weighing 55 gms.

As usual, at about 7.30 am, Saubhagya was on her walk when a duo on bike executed the plan.

The duo fled with the chain while Saubhagya fell unconscious, with blood oozing from her head.

A case has been registered.
