Mandya: Sumalatha Ambareesh, wife of the late former minister ‘Rebel Star’ Ambareesh, sought police protection for Sandalwood actors ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan, ‘Rocking Star’ Yash and her son Abhishek.

Speaking to reporters in Mandya, she informed that there is a threat to the lives of these actors from the JDS activists. So, there is the need for police protection for all of them, she requested the Election Commission of India.

She also alleged that today, the JDS has ensured that there will be no cable service in the entire district to stop them from listening to her.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy held a meeting with senior advocates in Bengaluru to discuss the Mandya controversies, including the nomination papers of his son.
