Mandya: A pregnant woman writhing in pain walked a distance after alighting from an ambulance to make way for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s cavalcade in a heart wrenching incident at Mandya on November 21.

The incident took place near BGS Circle in Mandya. CM Siddaramaiah and his entourage were passing through that way to inaugurate a series of development works in Mandya. To facilitate free movement of CM’s cavalcade, traffic police blocked traffic bear TB extension.

The police also blocked the ambulance carrying a pregnant woman, writhing in pain to a nearby government hospital. The woman left in the lurch started walking the distance to reach the hospital accompanied by the ambulance staff.
