Shriragapatna: On Friday September 24, unidentified men entered into Hiriyamma Temple in Chottanahalli village and stole ornaments.

Thieves entered into the temple’s sanctum sanctorum and took gold ornaments from the goddess idol. They also destroyed the donation box and took the money.

Police officers from Arekere paid a visit to the scene and have conducted an inspection.
