Mandya: A special team of police found three persons carrying a single-barrel gun and deer meat at Mavina Marada Halla area in Maddur here on Thursday January 5. While one was caught, the other two escaped in a chase.

The arrested has been identified as Vishakanta, a resident of Berambadi Village. He has confessed to deer poaching.

A search is on to nab the other two persons.
