Mandya: Three persons died and one was seriously injured in a truck-car collision occurred at M Hosuru Gate in Chamarajanagara – Jevargi National Highway on the night of Saturday June 25.

The deceased have been identified as Devaraju (42)  of Beereshwarapura, Manjunath (55), native of  Kanaganamaradi and Manjunath (64), native of Kennalu Village of the District. Seriously injured Swami (50) has been shifted to BGS Hospital in Bellur.

It is said that Devaraju working as Village Accountant in Pandavapura Taluk Office came to his native with others for farming work. After
the work all the four were  going to Pandavapura from Nagamangala. A lorry transporting liquor  coming from opposite direction rammed into car  killing three on the spot. Nagamangala Town Police has registered a case and is investigating.
