Mandya: Memorandum seeks NH to be named after Nalwadi Wodeyar

Mandya: MLC Dinesh Gooligowda and Madhu G. Madegowda met Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and submitted a memorandum.

The duo requested him to rename the Bengaluru – Mysuru National Highway – 275 after Rajarshi Sri Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar. Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar was one of those who worked hard for the prosperity of a united Karnataka.

He said “Today we are all walking because of the far-sighted plans laid down by him. He added that many of his contributions have benefitted crores of people.
