K.R.Pete: A man bludgeoned a 55-year-old woman at Hunasanahalli village of the taluk in Mandya district.

The deceased woman is identified as Doddatayamma (55) and was allegedly killed by Vasu (30) from the same village. The murder was done as the woman questioned his alleged illicit relationship with her daughter-in-law.

The accused has been absconding and the town police are searching for him after registering a case against him.
