Malavalli: Two teenagers succumbed after they fell into a canal along with their motorbike near Shimsha on May 3.

Andani (18) and Siddaraju (19), both residents of Thammadahalli are the deceased.

The incident occurred on the stretch between Shimsha and Panditahalli, when they were riding back after taking part in religious rituals at a nearby temple.

Reckless riding is said to be the cause behind the accident.

The Belakavadi police have registered a case into the incident and handed over the bodies to the relatives after post mortem at a nearby government hospital.
