Mandya: Ankegowda is a bibliophile of a different class. His love for reading and collecting books is known to all. However, as part of Sarvajna Jayanthi, Ankegowda opened the doors of his house to all as he celebrated the day through books.
At his residence in Vishweshwara Extension at Pandavapura, he made a separate set up just to display books on Sarvajna.
The week-long exhibition can be a great learning experience for all.
Over 150 books on Sarvajna’s life, his ‘vachanas’, ‘Sarvajna Sampada’, books on his reforms, Basava Vachana compilations, ‘Sarvajna Vachanambrutha, translated versions of vachanas etc will be on display.
