Mysuru: Shocking, but true! There are many cases of people ending life after being unable to repay loans, but here in a tragic incident, a man killed self after his friend conned him and refused to repay the money.

The deceased is Mohan, aged 21, a cook in a reputed hotel.

It is said that Mohan had given Rs 1.50 lac to his friend Rigesh as the latter had promised to help him in getting a house. But, Rigesh fled with the money and all of Mohan’s attempts to reach Rigesh failed.

Hence, on Tuesday, Mohan, as a last attempt sent an SMS to Rigesh, urging him to repay at last 50,000 to a man named Prasad.

Mohan’s relatives who arrived from Kilgere village in Chamarajnagar district have registered a complaint with KR Puram Police. Police are on the lookout for Rigesh who owed money to Mohan.
