Mysuru: After many years in Mysuru district, a student was debarred from appearing for the II PU examination after he was found indulging in malpractice while writing economics exam here on Thursday.

According to official sources, the student was booked by the personnel of a moving squad at Mathrumandali College. The student was from a government college. Among 22483 students who were supposed to attend the exam, 20911 students turned up while 1572 students were found absent.
Jayaprakash, DDPU said, “Due to strike from postal department, initially there was some confusion about transportation of answer scripts from each taluk to various places but later the district administration involved and managed to convince the employees of postal department who later shifted the answer scripts to various assigned destinations”.
