Madikeri: A 25-year-old youth was killed when a tipper rammed into his car near Katakeri in Madikeri on Wednesday.

Shafeeq(25), from Farangipete is the deceased.

He was travelling in an Alto car from Mangaluru to Kushalanagar. Meanwhile, a tipper heading in the opposite direction collided with the car.

Madikeri police have rushed to the spot and are further investigating.
