Madikeri: A young tiger aged around two years has lost its life after getting stuck in a trap in Harihara village of Virajpet.

The forest department officials arrived at the spot to assess the situation. An investigation is on to track down the offenders.

Reportedly, many cattle have been killed by a tiger in the area. However, it is not confirmed whether it was the same tiger responsible for the killings.
