Sullia: A patient admitted to a private hospital in Sullia town reportedly took his own life on Wednesday morning by jumping from one of the upper floors of the hospital.

The deceased, identified as Vasantha, hailed from Thingaladi in Puttur and worked as a manual laborer. He leaves behind his wife, a son, and two daughters.

Vasantha had been undergoing treatment at the private hospital in Sullia for three days before the tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, shortly after dawn.
