Madikeri: An SSLC student committed suicide on Thursday in Tholurushetty Grama, near Somavarpete after he failed in SSLC examination.

The deceased Bhuvan(16) was the son of Arjun, a writer in Lalithadri coffee estates.

Bhavan hanged himself in the attic of his house in the estate. He was studying at a private school in the city. He was depressed after he got his SSLC results.

Somavarpete Police Inspector Shivashankar visited the place and conducted the inquest and registered a case.
