Madikeri: While Judiciary has shown Dera Chief Ram Rahim Baba his place, another self-proclaimed Godman became police’s guest in Kodagu district on Sunday evening.

Iqbal Baba had come to Kodangeri village of Virajpete about three months ago and soon the queue of his followers started growing outside his rented accommodation. Majority of the followers were women who turned to him to find solace and solution to their problems.

However, the Baba turned out to be a pervert, who in the name of giving solution ended up misbehaving with women. When some of his believers said that the Baba used to even strip himself in front of them, in his dark room, the locals decided to teach him a lesson.

The Baba fell prey to the plan of the locals. The reverence and respect was short-lived as the fake Baba was beaten black and blue by the locals and then handed over to the cops.

it is learnt that Iqbal, alias Sadath hailed from Kerala and there are cases against him in various police stations in Kerala as well.
