Madikeri: In a tragic incident, an 80-year-old woman was electrocuted in Bhagavathinagara, K Badaga Village here on Saturday, July 29.

The deceased has been identified as Areyada Machavva. She died on the spot after she came in contact with a live electric wire connected to a motor pump.

Madikeri Rural Police and CESCOM Officials visited the spot.

Deceased is survived by four daughters and two sons
