Madkeri: Napoklu Police, who were chasing the accused in a cinematic manner while two persons were transporting beef in a white coloured Wagonr car with kerala registration number KL-26-L 8042 , finally reached Subhas Nagar near Madikeri at around 12.30 pm when the car driver lost control at high speed and the car hit a tree Despite being injured, they got out of the car and escaped.
Napoklu Police and Madikeri Rural Police have seized beef packed in three bags along with the vehicle and have taken necessary steps to take the car which was crushed to death to tree, by a crane.
According to eyewitnesses, the front portion of the car was completely damaged due to the impact of the car and the accused ran away in the dark out of fear even though the hand of one of the accused was broken and blood was pouring out.
