Madikeri: A zipline adventure sport has been included in the Rajaseet Park, which has a world of plants and natural beauty. Deputy Commissioner Dr. B.C. Satheesh and Additional Superintendent of Police K.S. Sundararaj flagged off the zip line adventure sport at Rajasite Park in the city on Tuesday.
He himself participated in an adventure sport on the zip Line. Deputy Commissioner Dr. B.C. Satheesh, who shared his experience in the sport, said that a total of 310 meters long zip line has been installed. More emphasis should be placed on safety. In addition, a safety certificate has to be obtained from General Thimmaiah National Adventure Academy. He also instructed the Deputy Director of Horticulture Department to follow the necessary guidance of the Adventure Academy.
Horticulture department deputy director H R Nayak said that a person will be paid Rs 300 to take part in the zip line adventure sport. It has been fixed. The zip line adventure sport will be held in the departmental private partnership. H R Nayak said the bengaluru firm will be operating for a period of five years. Nitin gave information regarding the safety of the zip line adventure sport. Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture Department Pramod, Nirmithi Kendra Engineer Raghavendra, Ponnachana Madhu and others were present.
