Somwarpet: Jeevan, a young lad from Kodagu is representing India, as part of the 4 x 100 relay team at the 18th National Asian Invitation Games being held at Palembang, Jakarta in Indonesia.

Jeevan trained under Galina of United states at the Sports Authority of India training centre in Patiala and is a part of the four-member relay team.

Jeevan, currently employed in the Department of Posts at Bengaluru, is the son of K P Suresh and Shakuntala couple from Karekoppa village of Somwarpet taluk.
