Kushalnagar: In a brisk operation forest department officials seized rose wood logs and the vehicle involved in transporting  the same at 4.30am on October 10 in Kushalnagar.

The forest department officials stopped Swaraj Mazda vehicle bearing registration number KA 12 A 3925 belonging to one Ashiq from Suntikoppa at the forest department check post near Koppa gate of the town.

It is learnt, illegally felled logs were on their way to Mysuru from Kedkal near Suntikoppa .

Range forest officer K.Nehru, forest official Kannanda Rajan, Shivaram and other staff members were involved in the seizure operations.
