Madikeri: Former deputy chief minister R Ashok led BJP Drought Study team will visit Kodagu district on Monday, January 16.
Informing about the same, BJP District spokesperson Subramanya Upadhyaya said that the team will visit Virajpet taluk at 11 am and convene a press meet at Gonikoppa APMC premises at 12.30 pm.

The team will then visit Maldare and Somwarpet taluk to have some insight into the drought situation. R Ashok, B J Puttaswamy, Vijay Shankar, MP Prathap Simha and MLAs K G Bopaiah, M P Appachuranjan, BJP District President Manu Muthappa are in the team.

During the visit, the team will accept complaints from farmers and growers.
