Madikeri: One of the main attractions of the Madikeri Dasara, “Makkala Dasara” will begin from tomorrow at the Gandhi Maidan.

The Dasara committee has organised the Rotary Misty Hills programme on October 2 at the Gandhi Maidan. Science models, children’s stalls, fairs, fancy dress competition, clay modeling and other events will be held.

Convener of “Makkala Dasara” Anil H T informed that the programme will be inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy, who is also the president of the Dasara committee. He added that the Rotararians would also be present.

On October 2 there will also be a cultural programme, which will be focused on the children.

Rotary Misty Hills, which has been organising this event for the past seven years, has managed to attract a lot of children towards the Dasara celebrations and hence, this year too, the Dasara committee has opened the doors for registration.
