Mysuru: Mysore University Vice Chancellor Professor K. Hemantakumar said that 4779 (6.84 per cent) candidates are eligible to become Assistant Professor in the Karnataka State Assistant Professor Qualifying Examination (KSET) held in July 2021.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday November 2, he said that the UGC review committee members had approved and released the results. Mysore University has got a result of 6.96 per cent in 2019
and 6.89 per cent in 2020. He said the results will be announced soon to help them apply for the post of lecturers in the next academic year.
A total of 83,907 candidates from across the State registered for the
KSET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test ) examination for 41 subjects at 11 nodal centres across the State. A total of 4779 candidates have passed including 2,490 male candidates and 2,309 female candidates.
