Kodagu: The Madikeri – Mangaluru Highway had been closed for all vehicular traffic from Tuesday August 9, 9.00 pm.

An order to this effect had been issued by the Deputy Commissioner. The highway remained closed till 6.30 am on Wednesday August 10, the order added.

The decision was taken on the recommendation of Assistant Engineer of NHAI as there was a high risk of a landslide in Madenadu area.
