Kodagu: Police managed to arrest Anand a.k.a. Fraud  Anand, a native of Koratagere in Tumkur district on Wednesday January 12.

Anand, a rowdy-sheeter allegedly called Virajpet MLA K. G. Bopaiah  on January 6 as ACB officer demanded Rs. One Crore to prevent ACB raid on him.

Followed by complaint from legislator, the police nabbed the accused from Andhra Pradesh and recovered two mobile phones and two sim cards usd for crime. It is said that the accused was involved in robbery and murder cases earlier too and wanted in several cases in Andhra Pradesh and Telangala.

Further, police investigation is on.
