Madikeri: MLA K. G. Bopaiah reacted to to the false allegations by some people about his date of birth.

“Every time there is an election, there is such a rumour against me. False allegations are being made. They are making allegations without any documents. There are some fake environmentalists in the District behind such a conspiracy, he charged.

“My father is illiterate. I have entered the document as per the date of birth given by him,” he noted.

The complaint was lodged by environmentalists through a person named Thimmaiah. The gang has hatched a conspiracy against me through such propaganda. But the people of the area know about me and my work.
The people of Kodagu will make BJP candidates win in two constituencies this time as well, he expressed confidence.

“People will teach a lesson to people behind conspiracy,” he added.

He assured that all his records are correct.
Such a conspiracy has also come to the notice of the party High Command. The party has also supported me, he added.
