Kodagu: Sandalwood actor “Huccha” Venkat was beaten up by an angry mob after witnesses saw him damaging a car that was parked in front of the KSRTC Bus Depot near Napoklu on Thursday, August 29.

In a video that has now gone viral on social media, the actor can be seen hitting the car with various objects and breaking the windscreen. Later, people are seen thrashing him for being a menace and causing a nuisance.

The reason for Venkat wrecking the car is yet to be ascertained.

The Kodagu Superintendent of Police (SP), however, informed ANI that Venkat has been taken into custody and that the incident is being investigated by the police.
