Kalpavraksha Trust releases free pass for foreign tourists to view ‘Jambu Savari’

Mysuru: At the time of the world-famous Mysuru Dasara, it is obvious that the tourist inflow will be high. Tourists, especially from foreign countries, usually gather in good numbers to witness the “Jambu Savari”, which is the main attraction of the Mysuru Dasara celebrations.

In order to help them better capture the spectacle, free passes were released by District In-charge minister V Somanna, which is an initiative by Kalpavraksha Trust.

Since the “Jambu Savari” will be held on October 8 and will pass through the Sayyaji Rao Road, preparations to install 1500 seats is underway. Foreign tourists will be provided free mineral water bottles (along with biscuits) and will also be given a detailed explanation in English regarding each tableaux that will be participating in the Dasara procession.

V G Devaraju, S Prashanth of Kalpavraksha Trust, Janachetana Trust President Prasanna N Gowda, Bettegowda, Lakshmdevi and Shekhar were present during the release.
