Jilted teenager guns down self in Mysuru

Mysuru : A teenager killed self using his father’s single barrel gun on Thursday morning, at his residence in Ragahvendranagar. Perhaps he was jilted by his lover, which led him to take the extreme step. Bhuvan, aged 19, son of retired army man is the deceased.

He had left his home to drop his sister for tuition classes in the morning. When he was told of the delay in class hours, he rushed back home accompanied by his sister. Within minutes he shot himself without the knowledge of family members. After hearing the gun shot, parents rushed him to a nearby hospital but Bhuvan was declared brought dead.

Failed love affair led to suicide?

It is gathered, he had all night conversation with his lover and refusal by his lover presumably led Bhuvan to take the extreme step. Police are verifying the call records to ascertain the reason behind the death.

Parents of Bhuvan had moved to Mysuru from Kodagu for the sake of their children’s education.

Bhuvan’s sister Brinda said that her brother was a Karate expert, who was extremely sensitive.

Nazarbad police arrived at the spot to investigate further on the incident. DCP (Law & Order) Dr. H T Shekhar too visited the residence of the deceased teenager.
