Mysuru: A large number of students from industrial training institutes (ITI) from Mysore, staged a demonstration here on Monday protesting against the “injustice” done to them by the authorities concerned.

Students training under SCVT – which is a two-year course has been extened to one-year more, that has forced the students to waste one more year. They have not got thier certificates neither thier exams are been conducted yet, stating to lack of co-ordination within the administartion.

The students claim that the second semester exams were held in the month of August and still results are pending. Thus the student have demanded for a direct certificate and do not intend to waste anymore time.

They have also demanded that the online administration should be removed as the students are from rural background dont have the knowledge of technology which leads to less adminstration and fee for the ITI courses should be revised.
