Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police raided a house and arrested four persons on charges of online cricket betting in city on Monday.

The arrested have been identified as Ganesh, 45, of Mandi Mohalla, Gurudutt, 24, of Manchegowdanakoppal, Yogesh, 23, of Belavatha and Nagaraju, 45, of Lashkar Mohalla.

It is said, the CCB Police raided a house on St. Mary’s Road in N.R. Mohalla following a tip off and arrested four persons involved in the online betting using a laptop and a TV.

The Police have seized 16 cell phones, an LCD TV, a laptop, an internet dongle, 2 printers, a Set Top Box and cables from the house.

The raid was conducted under the guidance of DCP M.M. Mahadevaiah by CCB ACP K.N. Madaiah, CCB Inspectors H.T. Sunilkumar and P.A. Sooraj, SIs Shantharaju and Keshavamurthy and staff K. Vijay, Umesh, Chikkanna, Ramaswamy, Srinivas and Ramachandra.
